Fathers best suit was pawned on Monday to pay for the food for the week because he had drunk all his earnings in the Eagle pub over the weekend. His suit would be redeemed on Friday so that he could go out for a drink at the Eagle over the weekend! A never ending circle of poverty because of drink! Followups:
