I learned: Monday bread and butter (or wash day) Tuesday string beans Wednesday soooooup Thursday roast beef Friday fish Saturday payday Sunday church We sang the song adding a day.. Today is Monday, today is Monday, Monday bread and butter All you hungry soldiers (children) we wish the same to you.
