I have spent alot of time trying to remember this rhyme and here's what I have come up with:

An old woman went to market to buy a pig.
On the way home she came to a sty,
But the pig wouldn't jump over the sty.

The old woman saw a dog and she said,
"Dog, dog bite the pig.
The pig won't jump over the sty,
and I won't be home in time for supper."
But the dog wouldn't do it.

So she went a little further down the road
and she saw a stick. She said,
"Stick, stick beat the dog.
The dog won't bite the pig.
The pig won't jump over the sty,
and I won't be home in time for supper."
But the stick wouldn't do it.

So she went a little further down the road
and she saw a fire. She said,
"Fire, fire burn the stick.
The stick won't beat the dog.
The dog won't bite the pig.
The pig won't jump over the sty,
and I won't be home in time for supper."
But the fire wouldn't do it.

So she went a little further down the road
and she saw some water. She said,
"Water, water put out the fire.
The fire won't burn the stick.
The stick won't beat the dog.
The dog won't bite the pig.
The pig won't jump over the sty,
and I won't be home in time for supper."
But the water wouldn't do it.

So she went a little further down the road
and she saw an ox. She said,
"Ox, ox drink the water.
The water won't put out the fire.
The fire won't burn the stick.
The stick won't beat the dog.
The dog won't bite the pig.
The pig won't jump over the sty,
and I won't be home in time for supper."
But the ox wouldn't do it.

So she went a little further down the road
and she saw a butcher. She said,
"Butcher, butcher slaughter the ox.
The ox won't drink the water.
The water won't put out the fire.
The fire won't burn the stick.
The stick won't beat the dog.
The dog won't bite the pig.
The pig won't jump over the sty,
and I won't be home in time for supper."
But the butcher wouldn't do it.

So she went a little further down the road
and she saw a rope. She said,
"Rope, rope hang the butcher.
The butcher won't slaughter the ox.
The ox won't drink the water.
The water won't put out the fire.
The fire won't burn the stick.
The stick won't beat the dog.
The dog won't bite the pig.
The pig won't jump over the sty,
and I won't be home in time for supper."
But the rope wouldn't do it.

So she went a little further down the road
and she saw a rat. She said,
"Rat, rat gnaw the rope.
The rope won't hang the butcher.
The butcher won't slaughter the ox.
The ox won't drink the water.
The water won't put out the fire.
The fire won't burn the stick.
The stick won't beat the dog.
The dog won't bite the pig.
The pig won't jump over the sty,
and I won't be home in time for supper."
But the rat wouldn't do it.

So she went a little further down the road
and she saw a cat. She said,
"Cat, cat kill the rat.
The rat won't gnaw the rope.
The rope won't hang the butcher.
The butcher won't slaughter the ox.
The ox won't drink the water.
The water won't put out the fire.
The fire won't burn the stick.
The stick won't beat the dog.
The dog won't bite the pig.
The pig won't jump over the sty,
and I won't be home in time for supper."

And the cat said, "If you bring me some milk I will."
So the old woman went a little further down the road
and she saw a cow. She said,
"Cow, cow please give me some milk."
And the cow said. "If you pick me some sweet clover I will".

So the old woman picked some clover for the cow.
The cow gave her some milk.
The old woman gave the milk to the cat.
Then, the cat began to kill the rat.
The rat began to gnaw the rope.
The rope began to hang the butcher.
The butcher began to slaughter the ox.
The ox began to drink the water.
The water began to put out the fire.
The fire began to burn the stick.
The stick began to beat the dog.
The dog began to bite the pig.
The pig jumped over the sty,
and the little old woman
made it home in time for supper.
