My Husbamd told me that his grandmother possibly wrote the book you are looking for. Her name is Berta McNutt. I also was looking for this book. Please let me know if you hear anything. My husbands Grandmother use to read him the book when he and his brothers were young, off some original manuscripts that he said were handwritten and had hand drawn pictures. I too thought it would make a nice gift. That would of been late 60's early 70's. Good Luck!!
